Akinlabi Akinbulumo, also known as Mr. Phisha, is a Visual Storyteller, Brand Expert, Teacher and Dream Interpreter with a lot of HEART. An ardent follower of the Sun Tzu philosophy, Akinlabi is constantly driven by the maxim: “The true product of a company, regardless of its resources, is the quality of its thinking”. He has been at the helm of developing creative ideas in the Nigerian business and Information tech landscape.

For over 15 years, he has worked with amazing clients across the globe – Access Bank, Microsoft Lumia/Nokia, Guinness, Etisalat, Dangote Cement, Unity Bank, Ndani, Sterling Bank, FSDH, Google, Aiteo, CBN/NIBSS, Guaranty Trust Bank amongst others.

In 2006, he joined Nakachi Consulting, a management consulting company where he was a part of the team focused on driving ministry and agency reforms before being reassigned to its sister company, PAYSTAR Limited where he became its Business Development Manager. He moved to Guaranty Trust Bank in 2009 to further his career in brand management and development. At GT Bank, his team was critical to the creation of the most effective cutting- edge brand communications in the industry.

Over the years, he has facilitated a number of Brand development and management training programs and seminars on Business Strategy, Brand Positioning, Leadership, Operational Excellence and Process Re- Engineering.

His discipline as a Chemical Engineering graduate of the University of Technology Minna, has been essential to his drive in ensuring that process flow sits at the heart of his strategy development. Akinlabi is a perfect blend of both science and art, able to be creative with Method, System and Process.

He is the author of PHINC! , a book aimed at getting readers to think in a way that produces great results and offers guidance on living life on purpose.

As a multipotentialite, some of Akinlabi’s creative skills include: Photography, Video Documentary, Graphic design, Writing, Poetry, Rap, Videography, Oil painting, Technical drawing and Theatre arts.

Akinlabi describes his work as “helping people and brands capture moments and extend the life of those moments such that they see more of their beauty and meaning.” He is on a mission to tell stories that help people live a more meaningful life.
