I have constantly tried to find the middle point between my background in the sciences and the art I want to create. My father was an architect and I spent most of my child years watching him draw and construct buildings. Being around so much paper, pens and rulers influenced the type of art I created as a boy.  Geometric lines in construction help to guide the creation process and allow the eyes capture the proportions of a space. I recently discovered that I could do the same things with the people I capture using photography.

I use a network of geometric lines and symbols to show either the proportions in the subjects pose or to guide what I want the viewers to see. The lines fill up the negative space making the image stand balanced and feel like they were a part of the original photo. The help amplifies the intensity of the moment and is therefore my go to style to project passion and energy.
